Mascara

I am wondering if it really makes that much difference on the kind of mascara you use? I mean there are so many kinds and they are supposed to do all these amazing things to your lashes, but do they really do it? Or does it come down to what kind of lashes you have in the first place? The only way your lashes will look like the ones on the commercials is if you get fake ones. I have never had lashes like that and I use the mascara they supposedly are. So, does it matter which one you buy? Has anyone found one that they think does exactly what is says it will???? The only one I have found that does that is the one that has two wands. One white and one black. That one does what it says but who has time for that extra step....... That's all.

Grocery Shopping

Here are a couple of my pet peeves that involve grocery shopping. Maybe it is just me, but I can always remember what I will need at the store when I am not able to write it down on my list. Why do you suppose that is? I can even open the fridge and pantry and still cannot think of what I need. So then I go to the store and still don't remember anything, end up spending money on things I don't really need. Then when I get home I remember everything that I needed. Someone needs to come up with something that will help solve this. (of course if I am the only one I guess it doesn't matter. I should just be better at heading straight to my list and writing it down) Something that will keep track of what you bought and then you know what you got before. That would really only work if you bought what you needed though. There has got to be something (other than the recording thing that you see commercials for. You know eggs, milk, bread..... then when you get to the store you push the button and it plays it back for you. yeah I want to walk around the store with that.) EVERYTHING else in the world (okay maybe not everything, but pretty much) is electronic. Why can't someone figure out an EASY way to make a grocery list? Something that doesn't require clicking around through a thousand things just to get to the right application for a grocery list. I know I wouldn't use that. Something........ super.
The other thing is carts. I don't get it. You either have to only have 1 kid to go shopping, or use the HUGE carts with either a car on them (which is worse than a regular cart cause everyone wants to get in it, and they can't, so fights and crying ensue.) or the carts that have the extra thing by where you push and seats two kids. Those are NOT fun to push. Why is it that only Sam's club and Costco have the carts with the two seats on the actual cart? Is that the only place you can go if you have more than 1 child? Seriously. They assume that you only have 1 child at Walmart and 2 at Sam's. Besides that, the cart itself is bigger. Who likes to cram all their groceries in a cart and then start piling them up in some sort of balancing act? If we had the Sam's/Costco cart at Walmart or anywhere, that would be nice. They could keep the regular carts and even have smaller ones. (Maceys does) At least when I go to Sam's I can keep the youger two wrangled in the cart.
(sigh) if only the world was perfect..............

are you kidding me??

So why is it that if your child has a bag of crackers and starts to dump them, as soon as you say 'no' or something, they start shaking the bag?? 'Must get all food on floor before mom gets here' But then we stop and take a breather, and realize it isn't that big of a deal. I mean it takes two minutes to clean up. Sweep/vacuum DONE! So why is it that we get frustrated and upset when they do this? (or maybe you are a perfect parent and don't get upset.) Actually today it was funny cause it was done twice with two different foods in two piles in a couple minutes. And I was very calm and didn't make a big deal of it. Even though they had just finished breakfast and got down from the table. I thought it might be a precursor to the rest of my day. But then I just thought, 'oh well, the floor needs to be swept anyway.' Kids, they are great, but could we please not grab all the food off the pantry shelves just because the doors are open. Or maybe I (being the parent and responsible adult) should keep the pantry doors closed even if I am just going back to it in a minute. HUH.

The opening post

So here it is, the random musings and thoughts of moms. We are talking really random. And seriously just your thoughts. You will see that this isn't a blog that is going to be serious by any means. I don't think I can be serious. So I guess I will try this. If for no other reason than to give me something to do for at least a couple of days. (We will see how boring this is for people) Also, because there are tons of helpful blogs out there, but what if I just have a lot of stuff going on in my head. Okay that makes me sound insane. If you would like to have your thoughts and musings posted let me know, or leave a comment and I will post it. That is why the address is random thoughts of moms. (notice the 's' this is plural) So anyway here it goes. Thanks for stopping by.
