Authors
So if anyone is interested in being an Author (that sounds strange) on this blog get me your email address. (I may have some of yours but you never know....) I seem to only have ideas when I am not home and then they disappear. So the more the merrier.......

Groceries
I would like to know how much people spend on groceries in a two week period. I am a little depressed because I just did our grocery shopping and I HATE seeing what the total comes to. Seriously when I watch the numbers get bigger I feel like I might hyperventilate. Of course while standing there I act all cool and calm like nothing is wrong and pay more attention to the kids and make it seem like I don't notice the numbers climbing. Wrong. This is when I look at the chocolate and think "what is 1 more dollar to soothe my nerves and stress?" I don't usually buy any chocolate but I do consider it. I have been keeping track of the things that I buy and have it worked out to which things I buy once a month and which things I buy every two weeks. Here are the gory details. Once a month I buy diapers. (for now need to potty train Jax before the new baby comes.) I haven't really kept track of this but once every month to month and a half I buy Laundry detergent. I have stopped buying the clorox 2 and downey because I don't think it is worth it. Our clothes are clean and I don't notice a difference in the softness. Now here is where is gets crazy. Every two weeks I buy (from Sams Club, so we are talking big quantities) a box of eggo waffles (to some this may seem extreme but my kids do not eat cereal. when they do want to eat it they only have a couple of bites and then say they are done. Then they are hungry and grouchy) , syrup to go on those waffles, a thing of Nes Quick, two packages of chicken breasts (about 6-7 pounds each (the pachage not the breasts....)), 2-4 loaves of bread depending on how sandwhichy we are at the time, 5 pounds of shredded cheese, a large package of american cheese (the cheese is monthly sorry), 10-14 gallons of milk, 4-5 gallons of apple juice and 3-5 dozen eggs. Now this doesn't include all the little stuff and random things that sometimes pop up. You know all the stuff that actaully makes a meal and not just stuff. So this comes down to... are you ready for this..... 3-4 HUNDRED dollars every two weeks. Now seriously. I asked my mom today how much she was spending when we all lived at home and it was about this much. I have to keep in mind the diapers (which were cheaper back in the day) and that just in the last year the price of everything has gone up. So I guess it is pretty average, but still geeze. I was thinking today how when Skyler and I first got married he was making about 5-7 hundred dollars every two weeks. How on earth did we survive? Oh Yeah, one car and no kids. Right. Not to mention the cheap apartment. All I have to say is that LIFE costs money. I just wish it didn't cost so much.
